Have you ever noticed that you have a tendency to go in the direction you are looking? When you are driving and you are looking at a something to your right, your vehicle will drift to the right.

It’s the same with our lives. If we don’t like the direction our lives are headed then we need to see how we are viewing life.

If you want your life to change, you must change the way you think. Dwelling on the negative things that happen in your life will attract other negative things to influence your life.

Learn to soak in the richness of His presence.

Negativity is a sign of a victim mentality and a poverty mindset. Eeyore from Winne the Pooh has such an attitude. He never feels good enough and there is always something bad that is going to happen to him. Such an individual is not much fun to be around.

Negative things happen to all of us. A person with no hope or very little hope will focus on the negative things. That person will look for someone or something to blame for the negative. Pretty soon, just about everyone or everything in their life is labeled as the problem for their stinky life.

Identifying the problem is the first step to solving the problem. Most of time, the problem is closer to us than we want to believe. But we can’t stop at identifying the problem. We must work to solve it.

I believe the most effective way to work at your problem is to rest. Rest in the Lord, that is. When you trust that the Lord is going to help you solve your problem you can rest assured it will happen.

Many times the way your problem is solved is not the way you thought it would be. But God’s ways are always better than our ways.

We may be focusing on resolving one event in our lives but God is focused on many events that will bring us into the fullness of our destiny with Him.

Trusting in God’s wisdom involves many conscious efforts on our part:

Stop the knee jerk reactions. Our reactions to situations only get in God’s way.

Learn the Father’s heart. He is good all the time. He wants to see us successful more than we want it.

Discover His promises in His word. Begin with the four Gospels, Matthew, Mark,Luke and John.

Learn to soak in the richness of His presence. Play and/or sing worship music and just relax. He will reveal many things to usif we will just slow down and listen.

A positive lifestyle is the way of the Kingdom of God. Jesus came to give us a joyously, richlife. A life that is better than wecould ever come up with on our own.

"I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of."

John 10:10 The Message

Think about it.

Go after the good life by seeking the One Who is Good.
