A LINE IN THE SAND

We are changed from the inside out. Our beliefs create an internal reality that will eventually work their way outward. The environment that we carry on the inside will be recreated on the outside. This is why what we believe about who God is and who we are is foundational to the transformation of our world.

If we believe that God is disapproving, distant, and angry, then we will live out the thoughts, beliefs, and actions of an orphan. If however, we believe we are fully loved, fully accepted, an heir of God, a son of God on the earth, co-ruling with Christ, then we will live out the thoughts, beliefs, and actions of someone who has taken responsibility for their life and the lives of those around them.

Sons of God take ownership for the culture they are creating.

Sons of God take ownership for the culture they are creating. They look at the raw elements of the earth and society and they begin to intentionally craft a kingdom ecosystem from the lens of heaven. They are no longer earthly abdicators, but heavenly ambassadors, culturing and stewarding the earth until it looks jut like heaven.

Only in the past 150 years or so have Christians separated evangelism from cultural transformation. They have put a high emphasis on personal renewal while leaving out an emphasis on kingdom cultural renewal. That is all about to change. We are going to see in this generation a shift so radical that it creates a line of demarcation in the historical sand. Communities of worshippers are uniting as sons and daughters of God with a new sound, a new heart, and a new message, and one of their main manifestations is going to be cultural transformation.

We are here to draw a new line in the sand.

We are here to draw a new line in the sand. The line in the sand is that we no longer see ourselves as sinful shameful orphans who have disappointed their Father. The line in the sand is that we will no longer be sin conscious, but son conscious. The line in the sand is that we will no longer be event oriented, but presence oriented. The line in the sand is that we will no longer echo the voice of an institution, but be proclaimers of the heart of God being expressed through our community. The line in the sand will be a stronghold of heaven on earth that never goes away.

It's time to turn the world upside down again.

We are the carriers of the atmosphere of another world. We bring the power of that world to bear wherever we go. We carry the answers to unsolvable problems. We have the ability to prophetically release the heart of God so powerfully that it changes the destiny of our cities and regions forever. It's time to get into community. It's time to start taking world changing risks together. It's time for the dreamers to explode. It's time to banish sickness and lack from the earth. It's time for orphans to become sons and heirs. It's time to turn the world upside down again. It's time for heaven on earth.
